The best thing any aspiring guitarist can do is have lessons from a competent teacher. Nothing else comes near.
Al has been teaching for 35 years and uses the most tried and tested methods, including the Numerical System.
If required, pupils can embark on a course of eight graded guitar levels. The grades include sight reading and ear training, skills that are being lost in the modern rock environment.
The accomplishment of grade 8 would put the pupil at a professional level.

GRADED GUITAR STUDIES
The APGT (Alan Pinches Guitar Tuition) course of graded guitar levels involves no copyright infringement. All test papers are original material. No books have to be bought by the student. This gives a saving of about £500 over the eight grades.
